Weapons of Destruction or Tools of Healing?

For some, it’s the sword,
For others, the gun.
For some, it’s the dagger,
A shadowed blade under the sun.
For some, it’s the javelin,
Piercing the air with rage.
For some, it’s the knife,
A whisper of war on a bloodied stage.
For some, it’s the stick,
Wielded with primal force.
For some, it’s the tongue,
Sharper still, steering the course.
For some, it’s the silence,
A void that screams too loud.
For some, it’s the club,
Breaking bones beneath the crowd.
Axes fall, grenades ignite,
Spears are hurled in endless fight.
Missiles soar, rifles fire,
Tanks roll forth on fields of ire.
Mines await with patient dread,
Parasites feed where hope has fled.
Chemicals linger, gases creep,
Bombs awaken where cities sleep.
Airplanes cut the fragile sky,
Submarines lurk as oceans cry.
Weapons of flesh, weapons of thought,
The cost of power—souls are bought.
And yet, amidst the tools of strife,
What if the weapon was a life?
A life that chose to heal, not harm,
To lay down blades and disarm.
